I grew up between German, Spanish and Cuban cultures. Moving between them shaped how I think about identity and belonging.

That perspective is also what drew me to art and design. I’ve always loved them, but I was never only interested in how things look. I wanted to understand where they come from, what they reference and what they say about the people who create and wear them.

Today, that curiosity continues to guide me. I’m especially drawn to fashion, music and media. Outside of design, I’m interested in psychology, cultural history and pop culture — all of which influence how I think and work.
